Thomas C. Horner, 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2019. Born in Pinewall, NJ, he had been a resident of Bordentown for the past 50 years. He was a fence installer who founded Horner Brothers Fence Company in the 1970's. He later went on to work for All Type Fence Company and Suburban Fence Company.
Pre deceased by his parents, Ephraim And Mary Horner, he is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Barbara J. Horner of Bordentown. His 3 sons: Frank J. Horner of Bordentown, John T. Horner of Bordentown and Richard J. Horner of Hamilton. His grandchildren: Matthew T. Horner, Sean M. Horner, Kaylee G. Horner, Paul J. Horner and Teresa M. Horner. His brother Ephraim Horner of Pemberton, many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman in his healthier days, an avid penny slot player, and he loved to attend any events for his grandchildren. He loved to grow a garden and take care of his rose bushes.
A celebration of life will be held at St. Mark United Methodist Church in Hamilton, NJ on Monday, October 14, 2019 from 11:30am-1:00pm with food and refreshments to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his wife Barbara Horner at 84 Groveville Road, Yardville, NJ 08620.
