Alvin Ryen

Alvin Ryen, age 76, of Perkiomenville, PA passed away on Friday, Dec. 30, 2022 at Phoenixville Hospital with his family by his side. 
Born on June 17, 1946 in Punxsutawney, PA, he was the son of the late Ellsworth Ryen and Erma (Wilson) Ryen. Alvin was the loving husband of 57 years to Evelyn (Long) Ryen. 
Along with his wife, he is survived by a son Kent Ryen and two grandsons Justin Ryen and Colt Ryen. 
He is also survived by sisters Sandra Ryen (Al Keffer), Donna McMasters, a sister-in-law, Cindy (Kukulka) Ryen, and his godson Jason Ryen. Alvin was a brother of the late Ron Ryen. Alvin has many nephews and nieces whom he loved very much. 
Alvin was a hard working man who took great pride in his work as a swimming pool mason. He had his own  successful business for over 25 years with his son Kent working beside him.  
Alvin loved vacationing with his wife in Mexico every year. He was an avid outdoorsman spending his free time hunting and fishing. He loved sports especially the Philadelphia Phillies. 
He was a proud US Navy Veteran, who served during the Vietnam War.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 11:30, Saturday, January 14th at Heidelberg United Church of Christ, 251 Perkiomenville Avenue, Schwenksville, PA. A luncheon with follow at the church. 
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
