Daisy Laverta (Garrett) Beck
Daisy L. Beck, retired, died September 27, 2021 at home. She was 92. She was predeceased by her husband, William George Beck.
     

Daisy Beck, of Worcester PA, was retired. She was a housewife for many years. She worked for Norristown school district after her children were older. She had fun working there and made some life long friends from there.
 

   Surviving are; two sons, William Frederick, his fiancé Lina and Richard Allen and his wife MaryEllen ; one daughter, Jaclyn Lea. Predeceased; two daughters, Bonnie Lou, Judith Ann. She has 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
 
   She was a life long member of United Church of Christ on Marshall and Noble Streets, Norristown PA. She loved the beautiful woodwork and windows. She always felt at peace there.
  

  She loved the outdoors. Camping with children and family. The many times hubby cooked! She loved going to her cabin in the mountains for the annual family 4th of July parties for over 30 years. She also loved to go to Daisy’s Place and the beach at Brigantine NJ for 30 years too. She loved to work in her garden on Avondale Rd. She also made beautiful flower arrangements and wreaths. Her and her husband went on 16 cruises. Dad thought it was the best way to travel.
  
 She was sweet and kind and generous. She was a very special woman. Her best friend from 3rd grade is still with us. Thelma McNeil. She calls mom Gabby. I am so grateful they had each other all these years. Those who knew her were blessed. She was also the absolute best mother. We couldn’t have done better if we picked her ourselves.
She was very loved and cherished. She will be missed.

Daisy’s Memorial service will be Wednesday October 13th at 1130AM. Service to follow at noon, lunch will follow.
