Peggy Joy Pancoast

Peggy Joy (Stockley) Pancoast was born in Somerset, Pa. Peggy and her twin sister Betty were born March 3, 1933, to Robert and Della (Kimmel) Stockley. She resided in Plymouth Meeting, Pa., at the time of her passing on Monday February 8, 2021. She was 87 years old.
Peggy and her siblings were raised at the Tressler Lurtheran Orphans Home in Louisville, Pa. She lived there from the age of 3 to 16 years old. She went on to raise a family of her own. Peggy had 6 children, 3 sons, and 3 daughters. Peggy was known for her quiet strength, resilience, and love for her family and God.
Peggy is survived by her sons Christopher Pancoast, Arthur Tarlecki, and her daughters Sherry Horrocks, Doris Blide (Jeff), Tina Horrocks (Keith) 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son Randy Pancoast, grandsons James and Michael Pancoast (twins), Ryan Horrocks, her mother and father Robert and Della Stockley, sisters Jane Hura (George), Betty Jean Hemminger (twin), Agnes Weaver (Richard), brothers Robert Stockley and Donald Stockley.

Relatives and freinds are invited to Peggy's Life Celebration on May 22, 2021 at the Volpe funeral home. Family condolences will be held from 12:30 - 1:30PM, followed by a service at 1:30.
