Rose (Angelini) Madonna, 96, of Norristown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2020.
Rose was born on February 26, 1924 in Norristown, to the late Joseph and Carmella (Nave) Angelini. She was the wife of the late Charles C. Madonna with whom she shared two daughters: Marlene, wife of Trippy Lobb, and Lisa, wife of the late Ralph Picard. Rose was preceded in death by her siblings: Vincent, Remo, Joseph Jr., and Margaret “Peggy.”
Rose was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was affectionately called “MeMe” by all of her grandchildren. She was a very strong and independent woman. Her smile showed her love for all. She enjoyed walking on the beach, crossword puzzles, her newspaper, The Lawrence Welk Show, and baking Rita’s Ball Cookies.
She is survived by her daughters; grandchildren: Eric (Nicola) Lobb, Valerie (Brendan) Heron, Marissa Lobb, Noelle (Anthony) DiFiore, and Lea Picard; great-grandchildren: Brendan, Emmeline, Rose, Charlie, and Michael.
Private interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
