Sarah Williams Chamberlain (July 5, 1928 — September 1, 2013.) Although Sarah passed in 2013, her detailed obituary was not submitted until now, upon her husband’s passing.

Sarah Williams Chamberlain was born in Columbus, Indiana and later moved to Salem, IN where she was a majorette in the marching band in high school. She later graduated with a degree in Nutrition from Indiana University, where she met Jerry Chamberlain whom she married in 1955. They remained married for nearly 60 years until her passing in 2013. Sarah first worked as a dietitian at Reynolds Metals in Richmond, VA. She later worked as a dietitian in several nursing homes in suburban Philadelphia from 1962-1983. Later, she worked for nursing homes and the Passaic County Office on Aging in northern NJ from 1984-1993.

Sarah will be remembered for her sunny disposition and warmth, true interest in people, her understanding, patience, wisdom, and sense of humor. She also loved animals, plants, and nature in general. She had a never ending curiosity about life. Beyond all else, she was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her son, John Chamberlain, daughter-in-law Isabela Chamberlain, and granddaughters, Sarah H. Chamberlain and Emilee Roxas-Perry of Montgomery County, MD; her son, Scott Chamberlain, daughter-in-law Stacey Chamberlain, and grandson Collin Chamberlain of Chester County, PA.
